The Elco Lighting Remodel IC recessed housing utilizes single wall construction for use with insulated ceilings and features remodeling clips for retro-fitting. Featuring a 5 1/2" height, the recessed housing allows for ease of compatible with 2 x 6 constructions. The remodeling clips can accommodate ceiling thicknesses of up to 1 1/4”. Engineered with an advanced heat sink design, this allows for greater heat dissipation, improving the product life of the LED modules while maintaining greater efficiency. While producing the most natural of lights in the color temperature of 3000°K (warm white), the Elco Lighting ELDR52ICA emits over 680 lumens of effective light output. With greater versatility, the recessed housing unit features a 120V AC driver that can be used congruently with most incandescent and electronic dimmers. For better installation applications, a prewired junction box is included with ½” and ¼” knockouts and removable access plates. Moreover, for greater durability against corrosion, the Elco Lighting ELDR52ICA features galvanized steel on the mounting frame.
